Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern all use of the online shops, websites, and marketplace storefronts operated by LECIEN (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and all related services provided therein (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, customers (the “Users”) agree to be bound by these Terms.


Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms apply to all products and services provided by the Company through the Service, including purchases made through our websites and authorised online marketplaces.


Article 2 (User Information and Order Confirmation)

Users are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when placing an order.

A purchase contract is deemed concluded when the Company issues an order confirmation email or order confirmation notice through the applicable sales platform.

If false information, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Service is discovered, the Company reserves the right to cancel or invalidate the transaction.


Article 3 (Pricing, Payment, and Fees)

The total purchase price consists of the product price, applicable taxes, and shipping fees, unless otherwise stated.

Users shall pay the total amount using the payment methods designated by the Company or the applicable sales platform.

Once payment has been completed, orders cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in Company policies.

This does not affect any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Where applicable, import taxes, customs duties, or clearance fees imposed by destination authorities are the responsibility of the customer, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Orders are processed via the Shopify platform, and certain order and payment data may be processed by Shopify in accordance with its policies.


Article 4 (Delivery of Products)

Products will be shipped via delivery carriers designated by the Company.

Products sold to customers in Singapore are fulfilled from our overseas warehouse in Japan and shipped internationally.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including customs clearance and international transit.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for delivery delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party logistics providers, except in cases of the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.


Article 5 (Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations)

Returns, exchanges, and cancellations due to customer preference or error (including incorrect size, appearance differences, or mistaken orders) are not accepted.

If a product is defective or incorrectly delivered, Users must contact the Company within 7 days of receipt.

Subject to verification and provided the product is unused and unopened, the Company will provide an exchange or other appropriate remedy in accordance with its published policies.

Online purchases are not subject to any cooling-off period, except where such rights are expressly required under applicable law.

All returns, exchanges, and remedies must follow the procedures specified by the Company.


Article 6 (Prohibited Actions)

Users must not engage in any of the following actions:

  • Violating laws, regulations, or public order and morals

  • Engaging in criminal or fraudulent activity

  • Damaging or disrupting servers, networks, or systems

  • Interfering with the operation of the Service, including providing false information

  • Collecting, storing, or misusing personal data of other users

  • Impersonating another individual or entity

  • Providing benefits, directly or indirectly, to antisocial forces

  • Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Company


The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of this section.


Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All content on the Service, including text, images, logos, designs, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

All such rights belong to the Company or its licensors.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.


Article 8 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

The Service and all products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

While the Company endeavours to ensure the accuracy of information, it does not guarantee completeness or accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

The Company may revise these Terms as necessary.

Revised Terms shall take effect upon publication on the relevant website or platform.


Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Purchases made from Japan

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kyoto District Court as the court of first instance.

 

Purchases made from Singapore or Taiwan

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless otherwise required by law.
